AIAA Rice holds various networking and informational events throughout the year. Past speakers have included representatives
from Boeing and NASA's Space Center Houston. Representatives discuss their own experiences, what they see the future of the aerospace
industry to be, and career advice and opportunities.
Wings Over Houston Airshow
AIAA Rice annually brings members to the Wings Over Houston Airshow at Ellington Airport. This is a great opportunity for students
to view and learn about both vintage and modern aircraft, as well as network with industry professionals. In 2024-2025, the Air Force
Thunderbirds are returning for formation and solo demonstrations!
AIAA SciTech Conference
We also participate in national AIAA opportunities–– students enjoy meeting a wide range of professionals and seeking internships
and entry-level positions at the annual AIAA SciTech conference.
